Ridgeline Flexis.

Built to last. The premium stainless steel replacement for braided rubber flexible connectors.

316L marine-grade stainless WRAS approved KIWA Reg 4 10 bar / 90 °C UK designed

Why Flexis

Fixing a flood costs more than doing it right the first time.

Traditional rubber-braided flexible connectors are the most common failure point in domestic water systems. They perish, fray and burst within 5–10 years. Ridgeline Flexis are designed for 100+ year service life when used for drinking water.

  • Solid stainless construction

A 316L stainless steel core. No rubber to perish, no braiding to fray, no internal liner to crack with age.

  • Impossible to kink

The corrugated geometry holds full bore even when bent. 90° turns with no flow restriction.

  • Stainless water path

Designed around a 316L stainless steel water-contact path, with technical documentation available for potable-water applications.

  • WRAS + KIWA approved

Certified for UK potable water installations. BS EN ISO 1086:2003.

Anatomy of a Flexis

All metal. From end to end.

Most "flexible connectors" hide a rubber or EPDM hose under a thin braided sleeve. Ridgeline Flexis don't. The whole flexible element is a single piece of corrugated 316L stainless steel.

  • 316L corrugated tube. The flexible element is the stainless steel itself. Drinking water is in contact with stainless only.
  • Chrome-plated brass end fittings. Premium feel, durable threads, WRAS-compliant.
  • Full-bore corrugation. Bend it to 90° or tighter without restricting flow.
  • Vibration isolation. Reduces noise transfer and pipe-movement stress at the connection.
  • Built to last. 100+ year design life. Twenty-five-year warranty.

Installation

Direct replacement. No specialist tools.

  1. Remove the existing braided flexi.
  2. Hand-tighten the Flexis at both ends.
  3. Secure with appropriate spanners. A few half turns is enough; do not over-tighten.
  4. Verify gasket placement before final tightening; replace gaskets if needed.
  5. Pressure-test the connection.
